     From Akin:

We’ve always loved the look of a classic mechanics jacket... but they sucked to ride in. To fix this, we’ve spent countless hours modifying the fit so that it functions perfectly on the bike + provides a much higher level of protection.

The ‘Wrench’ jacket is fully lined with one of the world's strongest aramid fibres, which is well known for its superior abrasion resistance and durability. We’ve also used a premium mesh liner for breathability and thrown in a water resistant internal pocket to stash your valuables.

Need more protection? We’ve designed this jacket to be 100% compatible with premium, CE rated armour inserts.

Add in small details like a snap-down collar, external zipper pockets and an adjustable cuff/hem and you’ve got the perfect hybrid of classic style and modern protection performance.

Please follow the instructions below to find your Flat Lay Chest Width.

The best way to find out your size is to measure a jacket you already own, and that fits the way you want while on your bike (factoring in any garments you wish to layer underneath). Lay your jacket flat on a table, and measure the chest, making sure to go from side seam to side seam (near the armpit like in the photo below). It's very important that you reach the seam join on each side, even if you have to bend a little around the sides of the jacket. Compare your measurement to the size chart above. If you're in-between sizes, choose the larger size.

Model in the photos is 6ft, 83kgs and is wearing a size Large.
