Yamaha XVS650 V-star wiring extensions

Easiest way to extend the wiring when you mount apes on your V-star will be without a doubt this wiring extension kit.

These extensions can run from under the tank into the headlight. The original wiring from the hand controls can run inside your new ape hangers and the plugs meet inside the headlight. Andddd, done 😎

The Classic gets an extra extension for the hazard lights (3-pin plug)

The wiring extensions are 36cm long and are meant to go from the headlight to the plugs under the tank. The OEM wiring from the hand controls can go into the headlight and connect to the extensions and then to the plugs under the tank 👍

(in case you like to run the wiring inside the bars: To get the OEM wiring from the controls through the bars you can simply de-pin the plugs with a small picking tool, run the wiring in the bars, and plug them back in place. Just make sure to take note of the position of each wire (color coded) and put them back in the same spot.)
