Introducing the new ‘Defender Motorcycle Hoodie’ from Akin Moto - We’ve taken your favourite casual hoodie, removed all the unnecessary stuff and hidden a truckload of protective and ‘moto-specific’ features inside.

First and foremost, this hoodie is designed to protect you. It’s fully lined with genuine DuPont™ Kevlar® fabric that has been woven with COOLMAX® comfort fibres. This patented technology provides very high levels of abrasion resistance, but it also ‘breathes’ - keeping you warm in Winter and cool in Summer.

To keep you looking fresh, we’ve used an exclusive DWR coating that makes the outer fabric ‘hydrophobic’ which helps to repel oil, grease, dirt and water. This also makes water ‘bead’ off the fabric, rather than soak through.

Need a secure place to store your valuables? We’ve hidden a water-resistant zipper pocket inside the front handwarmer pocket –you won’t have to worry about things falling out while you’re riding.

Hoodies are meant to comfortable… so we developed an entirely new ‘pull-over’ fit that works both on and off the bike. We also removed those pesky drawcords on the hood (who uses them anyway?) to prevent them slapping on the side of your helmet.

WHAT SIZE SHOULD I GET?:

*If you plan on using back armour, we recommend going up one size* - The best way to find out your size is to measure a hoodie you already own, and that fits the way you want while on your bike (factoring in any garments you wish to layer underneath). Lay your hoodie flat on a table, and measure the chest, making sure to go from side seam to side seam (near the armpit like in the photo below). It's very important that you reach the seam join on each side, even if you have to bend a little around the sides of the jacket. Compare your measurement to the size chart above.
