We've built more XVS Bobbers over the last few years than we can count, and we've had the idea to do one in the style of a big American bagger for a while now, so when an agreeable customer comes along it's an exciting feeling to be able to get creative and turn ideas into reality!
It wasn't without it's challenges, getting the pieces to fit and work together, but stepping back from the completed build and we're pretty damn stoked how it turned out!
Without a doubt, the big, bulky hardcase panniers draw the eyes first, paint matched with the candy red of the rest of the bike. Then you'll notice the MASSIVE front spoked wheel we've installed, wrapped in whitewall rubber. The huge 21" rim was easily the most expensive aspect of the project, but I think you'll agree, it's money worth spent - it sets off the entire aesthetic appeal, and anything smaller just wouldn't look right.
We've designed a 21" Wheel Kit (using a different thin-spoked wheel - for now) which you can buy and install very easily yourself!! Check it out - https://roguemotorcycles.com.au/products/21-x-3-5-spoke-wheel-vstar-650?_pos=1&_sid=6a3d57d91&_ss=r
Next, we've got those loooooooong pipes running down low to the ground, finishing with a pair of old-school fishtails. A bit of carby-tuning and we got them sounding and running as sweet as they look.
Finally, we've got the LED upgrade to the lighting at the front, featuring our 7" Multi-LED main headlight, with a supporting cast comprised of a pair of smaller halo LEDs - means the road ahead will be ridiculously bright.
We've got a few other ideas in the works we're looking to turn into reality in the near future... Watch This Space!!

Did you build the exhaust pipes yourself if so how much would you charge to build exact same setup for my 2008 xvs650? Also where did you fine the rims and what did you have to have to fit them to the bike. I’ve bagged mine with Harley Davidson Road Glide bags and custom brackets but need the other stuff to make the bike how I want it.
